accommodation including Whitehorse hotel on last evening, all meals
(including wine) with dinners, all airport, town transfers, Skagway day
tour, White Pass Railroad tour, helicopter flight into basecamp and
summit of Mt. Ingram, certified guides for all activities, specialized
gear required for each activity including hiking poles and daypacks,
canoes, paddles, PFD’s, mountain bikes and helmets etc.

Travel Itinerary:
Day 01 - Arrive in Whitehorse
Today we’ll transfer by road through the scenic Southern Lakes region
to Skagway, gateway to the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush. After a short look
around, you’ll board the White Pass Railroad for a scenic, narrated
tour over the 1200m White Pass. At the Canadian Customs house, you’ll
re-join your tour vehicle for the transfer to the Homestead. Evening
free to explore the area trails, and get to know your fellow guests
over dinner.
Day 02 - Heli-Hiking
Helicopter flight into Ibex Valley, day hike from Mt. Ingram summit,
views of Dalls sheep grazing on wildlidflowers and their lambs possible
as we make our way slowly down to the base camp. Picnic lunch en route.
Day 03 - Day Hike
Day hike down the Ibex valley floor. Here we will follow the game trail
of the local wolf pack, exploring the beaver dams and the pristine
wilderness of this beautiful valley. Try your hand at fishing this
afternoon, or simply relax in the sauna/shower.
Day 04 - 4x4 Tour
After a hearty breakfast, we will hike north up the valley towards the
trailhead where your 4WD vehicle will be waiting for us for the rest of
the trip home. The afternoon will see us packing our paddling gear and
getting some canoe practice work in on Scout Lake. Tonight we will be
back at the Homestead where a delicious dinner and the hot tub awaits!
Day 05 - Canoeing
Today we’ll load up our canoes and head west towards the Upper Takhini
River. The river is crystal clear and moves at a speed that is easily
mastered by novice paddlers as it winds it’s way through the mountains.
We will drive back to the Homestead for the evening.
Day 06 - Alpine 4x4 tour
(hiking/wildlife
viewing/fishing)
4x4 tour to Coal Lake. Day will be spent hiking around the area We’ll
use the spotting scope to watch the resident caribou foraging on the
hills. Fishing gear is available for those who wish to try their hand
at catching Lake Trout. Return to Homestead in evening.
Day 07 - Optional Mountain
biking or day tour to
Kluane National Park
Guests can chose from the following today:
a) The Lower Ibex Valley by mountain bike. This is a 33km loop trail
that is rated as a moderate ride with 700 feet of elevation gain
overall. Lunch beside Kokanee Lake makes a scenic point for a break.
b) Drive to Kluane National Park for an optional flightseeing tour over
the St. Elias ice fields, largest in the world (nonpolar) and Mt.
Logan, Canada’s tallest at 19,520ft. (Flight cost is approximately $400 per person)
Return to Whitehorse in afternoon. Check into hotel. +
Day 08 - Whitehorse check out
End of tour.
